With the depth of collective expertise, skills and resources embodied in our firm, SF Mashiyane Architects have the capabilities to successfully plan, design, document and manage any project, from large sophisticated multi-disciplinary programmes to small community projects, from inception to final handover.

We believe in a holistic approach and the optimum and appropriate use of available resources, from sophisticated computer systems to labour-based techniques, combined as required to achieve the stipulated objectives of projects. A combination of technologies are employed to meet the absolutes of every project and to ensure its successful implementation, regardless of its size or complexity, within the time limits and budgetary constraints imposed and to the required quality in terms of materials, labour and workmanship.

All our operations are fully computerised and synergy is achieved by integration of the computer-based systems used by the administrative, technical and management staff. Our staff are proficient in the use of a wide range of state of the art computer software and facilities.

SCI and BEE

Over the years, Smit & Fisher Architects, from which SF Mashiyane was formed, has rendered architectural and other assistance to organisations dedicated to the empowerment and transformation of previously marginalised communities and individuals and staff members have spent a substantial proportion of their time and efforts on various activities and contributions in this regard.

In February 2014 SF Mashiyane Architects was established by Renier Smit and Vusi Mashiyane. SF Mashiyane is a level 2 B-BBEE contributor.
